The first-ever CASQA stormwater conference was held in Ontario, CA on October 3 – 5, 2005 at the Doubletree Hotel and Conference Center near the Ontario International Airport.
This year’s theme was STORM (Stormwater, Treatment, Operations, Research, Management) and featured a full day of in-depth workshops (October 3) and two full days of concurrent session presentations (October 4 and 5). Participants were able to choose between two pre-conference workshops and 64 presentations within the themed track areas over the two-day workshops.
Attendance at the inaugural 2005 two-day conference was unexpectedly over 400 participants and there were more than 200 participants in the one-day pre-conference workshops. Doug Harrison, founding CASQA Chair, presented the keynote address. A pdf copy of Doug’s speech may be viewed by clicking here. You may also view a copy of the agenda by clicking here.
Each conference attendee received a conference program and proceeding CD containing papers selected for presentation and the presentations that were submitted in time for CD production.
